The driver contains both 680x0 and PowerPC code that allows it to run native on either microprocessor without user intervention. As the term implies, this driver consumes more disk space than 'slim' drivers, but provides optimum performance for both platforms. To accommodate this and future drivers, all new FWB driver partitions are now 512K in size. · You can now create volumes up to 2 terabytes in capacity when using System 7.5.2 or later on a PCI Power Macintosh. You may need to upgrade your applications and utilities to work correctly with volumes larger than 2 gigabytes in capacity. Please note and beware: Most disk diagnostic and repair utilities currently available will not properly recognize volumes whose capacity is larger than 4 Gb or allocation block size is larger than 63.5 Kb.
