However, from taking a quick look at the manual the link that Enigmatic posted, I think you should be able to use the USB port to transmit MIDI messages to control softsynths for instance. I don't know how you would be able to control hardware synths though. But be careful, I think the manual says aftertouch & pitch bend can't be transmitted.

Several years later, when they did release the current Win-7/8 64 bit driver for the WK-3XXX models, I tried it on my Vista-64 system.
